To reduce vibration and noise, a damping layer and constraint layer are usually pasted on the inner surface of a gearbox thin shell, and their thicknesses are the main parameters in the vibration and noise reduction design. The normal acceleration of the point on the gearbox surface is the main index that can reflect the vibration and noise of that point, and the normal accelerations of different points can reflect the degree of the vibration and noise of the whole structure. The K-S function is adopted to process many points’ normal accelerations as the comprehensive index of the vibration characteristics of the whole structure, and the vibration acceleration level is adopted to measure the degree of the vibration and noise. Secondary development of the Abaqus preprocess and postprocess on the basis of the Python scripting programming automatically modifies the model parameters, submits the job, and restarts the analysis totally, which avoids the tedious work of returning to the Abaqus/CAE for modifying and resubmitting and improves the speed of the preprocess and postprocess and the computational efficiency.

曲线齿锥齿轮和准双曲面齿轮(统称为“泛曲线齿锥齿轮”),是一种十分复杂而应用越来越广泛的传动装置。在设计上为了避免改变轴交角,而采用"零"变位传动(x1+x2=0)设计的齿形制,至今已在各国工业上通用近百年。文章介绍一种"非零"变位传动(x1+x2≠0)设计而又保持轴交角不变的创新齿形制。为了满足生产提出的要求,进行了二次开发。经过第二次创新,能在普通锥齿轮加工机床和刀具上切齿,故极易推广。近12年来,已成功地在工程机械、军品、立式机床、机车、船艇、油田、采煤、水泥等机械上采用,取得高综合强度、高可靠性、长寿命、小体积、低噪声、广泛适应性等优点,可取代(或覆盖)全部以美国Gleason为代表的零传动齿制设计的产品,还可实现某些Gleason所达不到的技术要求,故有广泛的应用前景。

This study aims to elucidate the underlying molecular mechanisms of artemisinin accumulation induced by cadmium (Cd). The effects of different Cd concentrations (0, 20, 60, and 120 μmol/L) on the biosynthesis of Artemisia annua L. were examined. Intermediate and end products were quantified by HPLC-ESI-MS/MS analysis. The expression of key biosynthesis enzymes was also determined by qRT-PCR. The results showed that the application of treatment with 60 and 120 μmol/L Cd for 3 days significantly improved the biosynthesis of artemisinic acid, arteannuin B, and artemisinin. The concentrations of artemisinic acid, arteannuin B, and artemisinin in the 120 μmol/L Cd-treated group were 2.26, 102.08, and 33.63 times higher than those in the control group, respectively. The concentrations of arteannuin B and artemisinin in 60 μmol/L Cd-treated leaves were 61.10 and 26.40 times higher than those in the control group, respectively. The relative expression levels of HMGR, FPS, ADS, CYP71AV1, DBR2, ALDH1, and DXR were up-regulated in the 120 μmol/L Cd-treated group because of increased contents of artemisinic metabolites after 3 days of treatment. Hence, appropriate doses of Cd can increase the concentrations of artemisinic metabolites at a certain time point by up-regulating the relative expression levels of key enzyme genes involved in artemisinin biosynthesis.

On the location of the secondary instantaneous poles in two-degree-of-freedom spherical mechanisms

As the instant centers in planar mechanisms, the instantaneous poles (or instant poles, in brief) can be used for kinematic analysis in spherical mechanisms. One of the mandatory steps in this analysis is the determination of the location of these poles. This paper presents a theorem showing analytically that the locus of an unknown secondary instant pole in two-degree-of-freedom (2-DOF) spherical mechanisms is a great circle (GC). The exact location of the pole on its GC is obtained based on the configuration of the mechanism and velocity ratio of the two inputs. Moreover, using the results of the theorem, a geometrical technique is presented to determine the GC of the pole.
